About Kim Levell
A regular featured guest on NBC's successful program "Daytime" as well as Martha Stewart Living Radio, Levell shares her experience in landscape design with valuable tips from how to choose the right lighting for your home to how your choice in pottery can set the tone in your backyard garden.
Her drive to bring the best ideas in the world back to her clients has taken her everywhere from the villas of Tuscany to the English gardens of Chelsea. Yet, the talents she has amassed don't only benefit her many clients, as she finds ways to share her love of gardening with the larger community. Her most recent project involved working on the Holland International Bulb Council's 60,000-bulb project in Chicago's Lurie Gardens. While there, Levell was able to participate in the revitalization of Chicago's native prairie landscape working alongside world famous landscape designer Peit Oudolf.
Based in Tampa, Florida, Levell draws inspiration from the native ecosystem, often utilizing local resources that work best in the South's challenging tropical climate. Projects especially important to her are those that reflect the variety of native materials and sustainable products in the region, while utilizing responsible design that best addresses effective water flow, retention, and lack of waste.
Applying effective design that is built upon years of expansive travel, industry partnerships, and continued education, Kim Levell strives to create beautiful yet functional outdoor environments that allow her clients to live more peacefully in the place that they call home.
Most recently, she has been actively working on her new television series, "The Green Eyed Gardener," a project combining travel, home decor, and cultural discovery.
